5. How long does it take to receive a response to my inquiry?
We respond to inquiries as soon as we can but allow 24 hours to be safe. For urgent or last-minute matters, please give us a call 07 4958 3204.
6. Is the Bushcamp accessible by 2-wheel drive vehicles?
Yes, the road into the Bushcamp is accessible by all vehicles most of the year and is a sealed road except for one well maintained 200 metre section before you enter the Gorge.
Water flows over the road as you enter Finch Hatton Gorge, so drive across slowly. the water is usually under 20cm deep, so it is no problem to drive across in your 2-wheel drive vehicle or rental car.
This is the entry to the Gorge, and it looks and feels incredible so enjoy.
7. Are dogs allowed?
Yes, but we have a few conditions now sadly. You are responsible for your dogs and if you can’t control them or think they may bite, chase wildlife or are noisy please don’t bring them.
Dogs must always be on a lead, can’t go into gardens, be friendly and quiet and can’t be in the swimming hole when there are other people there. $5 per dog now applies and all poo is to be picked up by you.

Yes, but feel free to bring your own fire pit and set it up near your site where there is no grass. We sell firewood for $15 and there is also a large fire pit for everyone.

No minimum stay but 3 nights allows you to enjoy the Bushcamp for a full day, go to Eungella for the day and spend a day at Finch Hatton Gorge.
10. Is there phone reception or WIFI.
There is no mobile reception however feel free to use our phone and if you need to work or have something important to do we have fast satellite internet for you.
(We try and help people and kids stay off the devices so we don’t have WIFI signage and the networks are hidden:)
11. What is the check in and out times?
Check in is after 2 pm and check out is 10am for campsite and huts.
We are happy to be flexible if the space is free
