Perched high above the surrounding plains, Eungella National Park is Australia’s longest and oldest Rainforest and is one of Queenslands most ecologically diverse parks.

It offers walking trails that can take a few minutes or all day, ranging from short 5 min stroll to  againthe Sky window circuit or more challenging like the 20km to Denham Range hike.

The drive from Finch Hatton to Eungella winds its way up the range with stunning views of the valley below, you can easily spend all day exploring from the drivers seat as you drive down some of the back roads that lead to hidden gems.

The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with species like the Eungella honeyeater found nowhere else on Earth.
